From Spinning the decks to hanging on your ears. Dj Alba has turned her spinning fingers into creating stunning earrings.
Alba Hamukwaya, affectionately known as DJ Alba, is one of Namibia’s best female deejays and music producer. She started taking deejaying seriously after she co-hosted a late-night mix show in 2012. She then went on to win a DJ competition hosted by 99FM and Amarula in 2014, she later went on to win the first all female deejay battle.
DJ Alba continues to evolve and is now directing her energy into another one of her passions; an accessories line. She recently launched an earing range under her creative house called House of Nalo.
“I came up with the name House of Nalo from my middle name which is Nalooliwa. The dream started gaining momentum about a year ago. I started off with unisex bracelets, neckpieces and now earrings,” she explains.
