In its ongoing commitment to education and youth development, Sanlam proudly announces the awarding of six bursaries and the induction of 17 interns into the Sanlam family. This initiative
reinforces Sanlam’s dedication to fostering education and nurturing young talents, aiming to bridge the gap in skills development and contribute to the academic success of students. Sanlam’s commitment to education takes centre stage with the handover of six bursaries to students from the different institutions of higher learning in Namibia. These bursaries, an integral part of the Sanlam Bursary Scheme, provide promising individuals with the opportunity to pursue tertiary education without the financial burden of tuition fees. The recipients, meticulously chosen from a pool of applicants, will join the esteemed ranks of 110 previous cohorts who have benefited from Sanlam’s unwavering dedication to education.
Laurencia Prinzonsky, Marketing and Communication Manager: Brand, at Sanlam, expressed her delight, saying, “We are delighted to award six young people with bursaries for the upcoming academic year. The Sanlam Bursary Scheme is our way of providing access to quality education and enabling students to contribute to the nation’s development while addressing socio-economic challenges among the youth. “As a responsible corporate citizen, Sanlam recognises its duty to contribute to societal well-being and ensure a skilled workforce in Namibia. In addition to the bursaries, Sanlam also welcomes 17 interns into its fold, who will embark on a three-month work-integrated learning experience.
