25th Annual Meeting of Namibia Council of Traditional Leaders focuses on governance and leadership
The 25th annual meeting of the Council of Traditional Leaders in Namibia is currently underway discussing issues of traditional governance and provide counsel to President Nangolo Mbumba on various matters. Established by an Act of Parliament in 1997, the council is tasked with advising the president on the management and use of communal land, as well as addressing other matters brought to its attention. The meeting, taking place until the 13th of September in Windhoek focusses on key areas of governance and traditional leadership in the country.
