FlyWestair Magazine goes digital
Urban.Current.Cool.
This is the first impression that undoubtedly hits you when you flick across your first copy of the FlyWestair magazine.
And now, you can soak up the magazine online and indulge in content that not only shakes up the status quo but explores Namibian lifestyle, art, business and people like never before.
With the impact of the Coronavirus being felt across industries – but most notably the aviation industry – the FlyWestair in-flight magazine decided to move digital for now so readers can still access its vibrant content.
Namibia’s only privately owned airline, WestAir Aviation became an accredited passenger airline in June 2019, flying to various destinations across Namibia and within the region under the brand FlyWestair.
“We will also be creating a podcast/audio magazine with the May issue. All stories will be read and recorded so that you can listen to the entire magazine even while busy doing something else like washing your hands or exercising,” says FlyWestair Magazine editor Elzanne Erasmus.
Since rolling out its first digital edition with the April issue, the response to the digitalization has been positive from readers. As Elzanne adds; “People are enjoying a fresh take on ‘Namibian’ stories that are modern and on-trend and feature how on point Namibia is creatively and in a business sense in relation to global trends.”
