– The Namibia Revenue Agency says the construction sector owes it N$2.6Billion in tax arrears. Online magazine, The Brief reports that the agency’s database indicates that 14 330 construction companies are registered, employing 6 916 individuals. – The Brief
– A run-off election will be held next month in Liberia following a photo finish between President George Weah and his main rival Joseph Boakai, BBC reports. Mr Weah got 43.83% of the vote and Mr Boakai, a former vice-president, received 43.44%. The 10 October poll was the tightest presidential contest in Liberia since a civil war ended about two decades ago. – BBC
