From the cattle trail that kicks off the Otjiherero lyrics (“Toora okaira kozongombe”) to the thorny, dusty paths that mirror life’s unchosen detours, Big Ben shared how this folk gem was born from raw reflection.

“Kaira feels like a journey, what inspired the story of a traveller on a road they never chose?” CHANTE asked. Big Ben revealed it draws from those vague elder instructions we all carry—like “don’t eat on the way” or “walk like this”—that shape us without explanation, turning a simple walk into a “life audit” of paths we inherit.
