Walvis Bay Corridor Group identifies trade corridor bottlenecks

The Walvis Bay Corridor Group (WBCG) has concluded a three-day stakeholder engagement mission aimed at strengthening efficiency along the country’s main trade corridors.

The mission involved engagements with transport and logistics partners to identify operational bottlenecks affecting the movement of goods across Namibia’s corridor network.

WBCG says insights gathered during the visit will directly inform the development of its 2026–2031 Strategic Framework. The organisation is positioning the framework to enhance corridor performance and reinforce the country’s role as a regional trade and logistics gateway.

The engagement forms part of WBCG’s ongoing efforts to improve coordination across the transport and logistics sector and support regional trade growth.
