Namibia’s Big MICE Move:Namibia’s New Convention Bureau in Focus

The Namibia Convention Bureau (NCB), currently a division of the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), launched in December 2025 to promote Namibia as a premier destination for business events like meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE).

It coordinates MICE activities, supports event bids, and attracts international conferences to boost tourism, investment, and jobs, aligning with goals like creating 500,000 jobs under President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah’s vision. Housed under the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) during its startup phase, it fills a prior gap in coordinated promotion.
