Barely 17, Livey Van Wyk found herself not only pregnant, but also HIV positive.

She was ostracized and shunned by her community. But at age 26, Livey made history. She became the youngest Mayor ever to be elected in Namibia and was awarded the coveted BBC’s Outlook Inspirations award for 2018.
