ANDRA – THIRD ALBUM LAUNCH

Andra is a Namibia-born singer-songwriter with a sincere and gimmick-free approach to her music.
She now resides in Pretoria and is well known for her passionate performances, guitar skills and a powerful voice that embodies the contrasts and extremes of the land she grew up in.
SOCIAL SPLASH: THE ROLE OF MUSICIANS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST SOCIAL PROBLEMS
The Social Splash is a campaign aimed at uniting Namibians to stand together to alleviate social problems, hosted by Namkid.
Themes such as Gender-based violence, Baby dumping, Poverty, Tribalism and Motor Vehicle accidents will be discussed.
The conversation will be facilitated by Otto Kapuka, with the participation of Big Ben, Ixa, Sensei, Mappz, Brain the Tool, Youngsta CPT.

THE PHONIKER ORCHESTRA
Venue: Warehouse Theatre
The well-known Namibian band THE PHONIKER ORCHESTRA once again comes to the Warehouse Theatre in Windhoek to entertain the audience with well-known international hits from last 5 decades.
Audiences can look forward to a fantastic mix of the greatest Rock n Roll songs, Soul Music, as well as modern Pop and Rock from the 1950s to the 2000s. Expect world hits from James Brown, The Beatles, Huey Lewis, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, John Denver, Ray Charles, Gloria Gaynor and many more. So put your dancing shoes on and join this fantastic “greatest hits” show, to dance the night away.

XWAMA FLEA MARKET
Venue: Xwama Cultural Village, Cnr Independence Avenue and Omoongo Street, Wanaheda
Xwama restaurant is celebrating their 10 year anniversary this Saturday, 21 October.
Gondwana supports the Iyaloo Sewing project (supplier of interior design elements) and Matukondjo Dolls project (supplier of specialised souvenirs).
Both will be present at the flea market at the anniversary celebrations.
