At birth, if you were able to give yourself a name, what name would it be and why?

I would still go for Jean-Claude😂, I love the name so much even if I had to deal with mispronunciations all my life. I believe the name carries so much power in it, I’ll be great just watch this space!

What is your fondest childhood memory?

Going December holidays to the village and being surrounded by a big family. Now some are no more and others don’t always have time to go to the village.

What would you do if you weren’t afraid?

Sell everything I have, buy a ticket and relocate to a foreign country. Is that too extreme??

What do you do for growth?

I read psychological books, I try out new things like foreign cuisines and ask for advice from older people who might have been through what I’m going through, just to have an idea of how they dealt with it.

When was the last time you did something that challenged you and what was it?

Most challenging for me thus far was dropping out of NUST (Science at Namibia University of Science and Technology) back in 2016 in my second year of studying. It was hard, because I knew I was going to disappoint my parents but I knew staying would lead me into deeper depression, so had to disappoint my parents to find myself and my happiness.

What makes you happy?

At this point in my life, the fact that I’m self depended. I pay my own tuition, I work part-time and I’m studying something which I love wholeheartedly and still have time for the gym and maintain a social life, tjoe!

What would enough look like to you?

An exemplary life, one that is true and genuine in every-way, where the next generation can look up to and learn great lessons from me. Most importantly, pleasing to God.
