Explore the Wonders of Art at the Namibia Arts Fair
Do you often get lost in the beauty of art?
Do you love the versatility of visual art representations from paintings to sculptures?
Or do you live for the emotive nature of performance art?
Answering yes to any of the three questions means that you should not miss the Namibia Arts Fair taking place under the theme ‘The African Art Experience’ on Saturday, 28 September at the Goethe Institut.
A platform for Namibian and African artists to showcase their art for sale, The Namibia Arts Fair offers platforms and programs designed to assist and educate artists in creating sustainable livelihoods from their art.
This is done through a one-day festival where the artwork of more than 50 artists and art organisations is displayed.
An arts fair like no other in Namibia, The Namibia Arts Fair aims to facilitate the exhibition and purchase of Namibian arts and craft pieces, to create an appreciation of the value of Namibian artwork and to raise awareness for currently practicing Namibian artists.
Most importantly, the arts fair aims to nurture the love of arts among Namibians and get private individuals, schools, government and non- government organizations, tourists, private companies and investors while allowing them to interact with Namibian artists and purchase Namibian art.
The arts fair will be filled with a host of activities from multimedia art exhibitions, art stalls, a book bazaar, live performances, food stalls, kids activities, school art tours and interactive art activities.
Make sure to save the date and treat your senses to some amazing art from Namibia, Africa and the world.
