Low voter registration turnout attributed to public apathy, says ECN Chief

The Chief Electoral Officer at the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN), Petrus Shaama, has attributed the low voter registration turnout to the public’s decision not to register. Low turnout  has been observed at numerous registration points across the country. The voter registration period is set to close on the 1st of August.
