Celebrate Independence Day at The Warehouse Theatre, check out a new exhibition at the StArt Art Gallery and wind down your week at Kapana Sessions at The Wolfshack.

The Warehouse opens its doors at 17h00 sharp with a feast of crispy Kapana, sundowner cocktails and live acoustic music at the Boiler Room, courtesy of Jacob & Taylor.

At 20h00 Jackson Wahengo & The Homeboys brace the stage in the Warehouse itself, with a two hour musical program from Cuban ballads to South African Mbaqanga, from West African Wolof to highly danceable Namibian Shambo.

 

 

‘LOOK-SEE’ – A GROUP EXHIBITION

Date: Friday, 23 March 2018 at 16:00 running until Thursday, 12 April 2018 at 19:00

Venue: StArt @ The Wolfshack

‘Look-See’ is a group exhibition showcasing the works of visual and performing artists. This exhibition is a reflection on abstraction in contemporary Namibian art.

‘Look-See’ is made up of works by Dӧrte Berner, Nicky Marais, Francois de Necker, Laimi Mbangula, Elisia Nghidishange, Tony Figueira, Ilovu Homateni, Rudolf Seibeb, and Blend.

Admission is free. The Wolfshack Wine Bar next door is open from 4:30PM to late with its great bar service and dinner menu!

‘Look-See’ is on at StArt Art Gallery until 12 April 2018. Opening hours are Tuesdays – Saturdays 4PM – 6PM.

 

 

KAPANA SOUL SESSIONS : RHYMES AND RELAXATION SESSION

Date: Saturday, 24. March 2018 at 14:00

Venue: The Wolfshack

Spend your Saturday jamming with us at the next instalment of Kapana Soul Sessions at The Wolfshack. 2PM to late. Entrance fee: N$30. Free for ladies until 7PM.
