At this pARTicipate session, we will be learning how to create ‘biomorphs’ (decorative forms or objects based on or resembling a living organism) with stencils and ink as the artist shares her process and technique with us. Space is limited so please pre-book by contacting us at startartnam@gmail.com. This session costs N$ 250 per person and includes all materials and a drink from The Wolfshack.

FREE YOUR MIND! ‘AFRICAN TIME’

Time in Africa is known to take a little longer then anywhere else on earth. Making it less accurate?! Giving way to phrases like I’ll be there ‘now, now’ & ‘just now’..

 

So to give lite to time,  FreeYourMind and Soweto Comedy Festival have joined forces to better make the world understand Africa’s position, in Time.

THE GATHERING

The Gathering is back for its third edition at FNCC!

Directed by Actor and Poet Ashwyn Mberi, The Gathering is a platform for upcoming performers from all mediums to express themselves. The show is audition-based but welcomes artists of all levels of experience to showcase their work and collaborate with other artforms.

MACADAM MARKET

Date: Friday, 06 April 2018 at 16:00 – 21:00

Venue: Old Grünerkranz Complex, Macadam Street

The Macadam Market is an initiative driven by some of the tenants of the old Gruner Kranz complex, aiming to create a relaxing yet vibrant market atmosphere showcasing locally made goods and services. Various businesses in the complex will be open during the Macadam Market, offering specials on goods or activities to participate in. Additionally, there will be selected stalls set up within the complex all offering exciting products and goodies ideal for Friday afternoon shopping!

There will be Kiddie’s corner available so parents can rest assured that your kiddies are having a great time while you enjoy yourselves!
