The ‘Black Light Portrait Party’ is an exhibition comprising of a body of work specifically created using Matengu’s self-taught understandings of UV lighting. Using neon body paints in collaboration with Sue Beukes, Matengu worked with local artists living and working in Namibia to create these portraits.

Ongoma/Drum Café, established in 2002 with the mission to spread the beat and rhythm of African drums, presents an energetic but soothing performance at Night Under the Stars.
The multitalented crew uses the marimba, djembe and other types of drums to generate the sound of well-known classics and originals from their debut album. Come and feel the beat with us.
