In commemoration of the Elysee Treaty’s 100th Anniversary this year, the Goethe-Institut Namibia and Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) collaborated on a short-film workshop for 50 learners from 4 schools in Windhoek. The workshop that covered all aspects of film production, from scripting to shooting the final image, was held under theme of Reconciliation Through Culture and was funded by the German-French Cultural Fund.
The public is invited to the red carpet opening and screening of the short films produced by the youth of Namibia to understand the role of culture in reconciliation.
Local partners include Joe-Vision Production, Namibia Film Commission, National Arts Council and the College of the Arts.
