Fueling the Future: UNAM Interns on Their Journey with the Ministry of Mines and Energy

The Ministry of Mines and Energy is committed to empowering Namibia’s youth through education and skills development, offering internship programs in collaboration with institutions of higher education, which include UNAM, NUST and IUM to equip young professionals with the practical experience needed to thrive in the workforce.
Chante was joined by three vibrant ladies who have worked on specific projects and offered supporting roles to already ongoing projects at the Ministry’s Department of Geological Survey of Namibia. From the 13 students in the Ministry’s internship programme, we were joined by Ama Geingos; Kesia Bezuidenhout and Julie Neidel to share more about their experience.
