Since 1980, the United Nations World Tourism Organization has celebrated World Tourism Day every year on September 27th. This day marks a milestone in global tourism and highlights the power of travel to connect cultures, create jobs, and protect heritage. In Namibia, we should be proud of the growth our tourism industry has experienced over the years and today, we’re joined by Odile Gertze from Wild Africa, to celebrate with us and to explore tourism’s impact on Namibia and the importance of sustainable travel.
