“We have a lot of choirs this year… some drumming and traditional dancing, which of course brings in a lot of local flare to our Christmas Market. I’d also like to mention that we have the fantastic Adora, Esme and Bongani Soul, who will be onstage… In terms of the live entertainment we mustn’t forget the Christmas Carols by Candlelight… on Sunday evening. That is being hosted in the Zoo Park Amphitheatre with Clive and the Now Generation together with other local choirs as well.”
The “Christmas in the Zoo Park” Market will be taking place along Independence avenue from the 8th until the 10th of December. This event is planned to coincide with the annual switching on of the city’s Christmas Street Lights by His Worship the Mayor of Windhoek.
