Powering our Future with MIME: Cartography

We sat down with Anna Ambata, a Senior Cartographer in the Geoinformation Division at the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy. She is part of the team that transforms complex geological data into clear, usable maps that guide everything from exploration to education.
Cartographers’ roles include designing and producing accurate, informative, and visually clear geological maps and diagrams. They convert scientific data into accessible and user-friendly maps for various users, from geologists to the public.
