Sunset Jazz Night with CAN – Raising funds for Childhood Cancer

In honour of Childhood Cancer Awareness month which takes place every September, the Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN) is hosting the Sunset Jazz event to raise funds for this worthy cause.

Every year, CAN hosts various fundraising events to raise funds for Namibians who need support for their cancer treatments and procedures. Through the Children Fighting Cancer (CHICA) programme, paediatric oncology patients are housed at the CHICA Interim Home while getting treatment in Windhoek with assistance from CAN. They also support the children’s ward at the Windhoek Central Hospital and help the patients financially while also providing families assistance with funeral costs.

The organisation is also renovating the children’s ward with the assistance of amazing donors who want to see this project of hope succeed.

Join the Sunset Jazz for childhood cancer awareness

This time around, CAN has partnered with 99FM and One Africa TV as media partners, Hotel Thule, CIC and a host of talented artists for a sunset jazz event to raise awareness for childhood cancer and to raise funds for affected families.
