Health Minister Dr. Experance Luvindao has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to upgrade the Katima Mulilo District Hospital to an intermediate hospital. Speaking at the inauguration of the new Intensive Care Unit, Luvindao said the facility marks a key step toward improving specialised healthcare in the Zambezi Region, where patients often travel over 500 kilometres for treatment. She urged all stakeholders to maintain high standards and ensure the ICU is properly cared for.
