President Mbumba attends World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam

President Nangolo Mbumba arrived in Rotterdam, Netherlands, to participate in the World Hydrogen 2024 Summit and Exhibition. The three-day event, running from May 13th to 15th, is a key platform for collaboration on advancing hydrogen energy solutions.

Organized by the Sustainable Energy Council alongside the Dutch government, the city of Rotterdam, and the Port of Rotterdam, the Summit brings together leading figures in the hydrogen industry. President Mbumba is expected to engage in official talks with His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and hold bilateral discussions with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on the sidelines of the Summit.

These high-level meetings present an opportunity for Namibia and the Netherlands to explore potential collaborations in developing hydrogen technologies. Hydrogen is seen as a promising clean energy source, and countries around the world are actively seeking partnerships to accelerate its development and implementation.
