The Tribe feat. The White Line
It’s Lights, Camera Action as we talk to the cast and production crew from Namibia’s latest feature film offering – “The White Line”.
It is a story of hope borne from love grown in a forbidding time. It is a period story set in 1963, three years after the Old Location uprising that shook South West Africa. A white police officer falls in love with a black maid, their love for each other grows over time through the letters they write to each other. Their love endures many obstacles, one being the colour of their skin.
PLUS – #BeatsBeyondBorders takes us on a journey back in time – from Mariam Makeba’s Pata-Pata to Johnny Clegg’s Scaterlings of Africa to Brenda Fassie’s Black President.
