Veterinary Services take action following Lungsickness outbreak in Okapundja

An outbreak of Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia (CBPP) commonly known as Lungsickness has been detected at Okapundja village, situated 51 km east of Opuwo. The Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform Public Relations Officer, Jona Musheko, says the Directorate of Veterinary Services has instituted strict measures to control the outbreak.
