Cohen FC 1 holds slim lead in African Marketing Fistball League

Cohen FC 1 remains at the top of the African Marketing Fistball League standings after the second round, despite suffering a narrow 3-2 defeat to SFC 1 on Saturday at Cohen Fistball Club in Windhoek.

The A League clash between the two title contenders delivered the highlight of the day, with SFC 1 securing a hard-fought victory in a match that went the full distance.

Despite the loss, CFC 1 stays top on 22 points alongside SFC 1, holding first place on superior ball difference. SKW 1 remains in third place with 15 points.

In the B League, SKW 3 strengthened its lead with 24 points, while the youth divisions also produced closely contested results across the U12, U15 and U18 categories.

Individual honours went to Cuan Ahrens as U18 Player of the Tournament, while Rene Steinkopf claimed the senior award.

With two rounds completed, several title races remain wide open heading into the next stage of the competition.
