Drunk Driving Biggest Concern Facing Traffic Officers

City Police Chief Abraham Kanime says it is high time that motorists change their behaviour on the roads in order to reduce accidents. Kanime says that a lot of speeding tickets have been issued during the past festive season adding that the number of tickets issued exceeds the number issued during the 2014/2015 period. Fines issued during that period were worth N$12 million.

Kanime stressed that more enforcement will be done in the area of driving under the influence of alcohol. He emphasized that motorists can lose their drivers licences when caught driving under the influence.
