Recently, the 99FM team joined the Nedbank Personal loans team for an outside broadcast where they shared information on their Financial Education Roadshow with our listeners and the public.
The initiative, which runs until end of July 2019, targets Namibians working in both the private and public sectors and is aimed at deepening consumer awareness and understanding of banking products and services.
And we all know how much we need this if we’re going to survive these times.
Head of Nedloans, Mr. Erastus Haihambo, says the roadshow aims to equip people with the knowledge needed to make smart financial decisions. “The objective of the financial roadshow is to educate consumers about the range of financial products/services and to educate them by giving them a better understanding about their responsibilities and rights when it comes to their financial well-being,” said Haihambo.
Nedbank believes financial wellness is a game changer towards the achievement of financial development and this, alongside enhancing financial market integrity is their way of giving back to the community.
