Patients Frustrated as Dental Services Stall at Katutura Hospital

Dental patients at the Katutura Intermediate State Hospital report ongoing disruptions due to a shortage of anaesthesia, halting tooth extractions. The hospital is currently offering only consultations, pain relief and antibiotics, with patients asked to regularly check for updates. They also cite a lack of mouthwash and question official statements by Health Minister Esperance Luvindao on service availability. Some patients say repeated visits without treatment have left them increasingly frustrated and financially strained.
