Constitutional Reform & Press Freedom.

With unwavering dedication, he propelled the ruling SWAPO party forward, ascending to the helm as its Secretary-General in 1976. But his legacy surpasses mere party politics. Geingob’s indomitable spirit ignited a profound drive for constitutional reform, leading the charge as the architect of Namibia’s democratic foundation, championing for press freedom, fervently advocating for the Windhoek Declaration—a clarion call for the unshackling of voices across the African continent.
