SPYL sends solidarity message to earthquake-hit Venezuela

The Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) has conveyed its condolences and solidarity to the people and government of Venezuela following a devastating earthquake that claimed lives, injured scores of people and caused widespread destruction.

In a statement issued on Friday, SPYL spokesperson, Moses Shikerete, said they stand with families who have lost loved ones, those recovering from injuries and communities affected by the disaster.

“In this challenging moment, we offer our heartfelt wishes for strength, resilience, and unity as the Venezuelan people come together to endure, recover, and rebuild their nation,” he said.

Shikerete said it wishes the Venezuelan people strength, resilience and unity as they work to recover and rebuild.

“We affirm our unwavering commitment to supporting Venezuela’s efforts toward relief, recovery, and long-term reconstruction, standing in solidarity with the people at every step of the way,” he said.
