The MYD Show – The Power of Will with Twapewa Kadhikwa
Twapewa Kadhikwa is one of Namibia’s most sought after entrepreneurs, has never held a formal job, and is about to launch a book on entrepreneurship, which has been endorsed by the Ministry of Education to become part of the Namibian school curriculum.
“The richest place, right now, is not treasury. The richest place is the graveyard and it’s a pity because we come to do something, we come to execute something, we come to this journey of life to release. What did you come to do? You didn’t come to just breathe.”
In this episode of the MYD Show, she shares her journey to become an entrepreneur, including the difficulties and the successes that have defined her path.
“What I have learnt that is profound is the fact that if you want to go fast you should go alone, however if you intend to go far, it’s wiser to go with others.”
Also in this episode, Twapewa speaks about her escape from death, her attempted murder and the depression that followed afterwards, including how she overcame to find the freedom she has today.
“There was nothing that caught that bullet, nothing but grace.”
In this MYD show podcast we find out:
- How Twapewa became and entrepreneur and why she wants to encourage more Namibians to become entrepreneurs
- What lead to Twapewa’s depression and how she overcame it
“I think what is important is to know that you can overcome it, but not alone.”
- Twapewa’s message for Namibia
