Moving Together for World Rhino Day
World Rhino Day is held every year on the 22nd of September, around the World. Here in Namibia, the day was marked by many individuals and corporations alike, demonstrating the power of individual and collection support in the fight against Rhino poaching.
Joining us in studio for this episode of the MYD Earth Show, we had two passionate Namibians and a representative of the Save the Rhino Trust. Natashja Pinsenschaum is the creative behind the Rhino Calendar, Angelique Peake, from RMB Namibia, is another passionate Namibian who decided to help and Hannelie Horn Turner is from the Save The Rhino Trust.
In this show, you’ll hear about individual projects, such as the Save the Rhino Photo Calendar and the larger corporate donations made on this day. In addition we hear about a wildlife conflict management plan that was launched on the day.
