Looking Back…

Q: How would you describe your 2017?

A: 2017 has been a year of immense healing, transcendence and growth. I’ve learned about manifesting my goals and gained awareness of the ordinary magic that lies in realising my dreams.

Q: What was something good that came out of 2017?

A: I officially registered as a Psychological Counsellor and opened my private practice, two of my long term goals have materialised.

Q: What challenged you in 2017 and how did you overcome this challenge?
(Advice you could share with us for overcoming challenges)

A: I received an unexpected diagnosis this year, it was very challenging to come to terms with but I’ve since learned how to cope with it and even learn from it. Most importantly, I’ve realised how important both mental and physical health is and thus how to value and nurture them.

Q: What was your favourite Art in 2017? Theatre, music, movie, artist or art collection…

A: Fashion definitely stole my heart this year and it’s evident in my lifestyle blog. I am obsessed with style and design!!!

Q: What was your biggest health and wellness learning of 2017?

A: Ultimately health and wellness lies in my own hands, I can receive external care but it’s mostly an inside job.

Q: What was your biggest personal development learning of 2017?

A: Nothing worth having will ever come easy, not even happiness. Most of life’s treasures are earned.

As for the Holidays…

A: I am such a beach babe, the ocean will always win my heart, Swakopmund just does it for me.

Q: What book should we all be reading?

A: Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. It’s all about our resilience and strength through adversary because as he so brilliantly stated, “he who has a why can bare almost any how”.

Q: Where do you find your inspiration?

A: I find my inspiration in life, all around me in nature, in people, in experiences, in art, every facet of life ignites passion within me and energises me.

Looking Forward…

Q: What is your mantra for life?

A: OM. OM means peace and peace is an affirmation that I want to flow through my entire being as though it is my breath.

Q: What is your wish for the world for 2018?

A: I wish for more empathy, love, peace and tolerance.

Q: What is your wish for Namibia for 2018?
