Looking Back…

Q: How would you describe your 2017?

A: Not for the faint hearted!

Q: What was something good that came out of 2017?

A: Not wasting a good recession.

Q: What challenged you in 2017 and how did you overcome this challenge? (Advice you could share with us for overcoming challenges)

A: The dip in the economy was very challenging from a business perspective but we survived because of sheer resilience and making the tough decisions it took to make it to the other side.

Q: What was your favourite Art in 2017? Theatre, music, movie, artist or art collection…

A: The Drakensberg Boys Choir performances I saw earlier this year, they were truly phenomenal.

Q: What was your biggest health and wellness learning of 2017?

A: That the body is capable of anything, it’s just a matter of consistency. Also fitness is 80% diet and 20% exercise.

Q: What was your biggest personal development learning of 2017?

A: That I am capable of anything I put my mind to.

As for the Holidays…

Q: What is your favourite food in December?

A: Anything barbecue.

Q: What is your favourite Namibian destination?

A: Swakopmund.

Q: What book should we all be reading?

A: The Accidental Creative by Todd Henry.

Q: Where do you find your inspiration?

A: My children inspire me to the best that I can be.

Q: What is your mantra for life?

A: This too shall pass.

Q: What is your wish for the world for 2018?

A: World peace.

Q: What is your wish for Namibia for 2018?

A: To decrease our GBV stats.

Q: What is your wellness goal for 2018?

A: To get fitter and eat healthier.
