The MYD Show – Independent Connection with Melissa Mukaiwa
To connect with others, we need to be able to connect with ourselves first. In this episode of the MYD Show, we were joined in studio by certified Meditation Coach and International Speaker, Melissa Mukaiwa.
Melissa shared with us on how to connect with ourselves and why this is about tapping into our own power.
“So often you will hear about people who go to the doctor and there were millions of warning signs before then: you’re unable to sleep; you’re losing your appetite; you’re upset; you’re anxious; you’re depressed. This is all feedback from your body. Your emotions and the way that you feel, this is all feedback from your body, which always tends towards balance and homeostasis. By being connected, even just on a physical level, you can get feedback on what your body is trying to tell you so you can live healthier, and that helps you to perform better, and that helps you to know what you want and what you like, it helps you make better decisions in life. And that is your life. The decisions you make day in and day out, that is the entire quality of your life. That is what you are doing here and so being connected, if you want to life live, then you have to be connected.”
In this MYD show podcast we find out:
- Why connection is empowerment
- How to know if you are disconnected and what you can do about this
- How knowing the narrative of your subconscious mind, helps you to advance yourself
- What healthy connection is within the realms of relationships
“There was a study that came out of Harvard, that was released recently, that shows that what dictates a persons overall level of happiness, is not money or anything else, is the quality of our relationships.”
